The Australian Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (APOS) and the Paediatric Orthopaedic Society of New Zealand held their first combined scientific meeting in Tauranga, New Zealand, on the 7-8th October 2011. The theme of the meeting was "Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in the Adolescent". The opening session included a presentation from keynote speaker Dan Sucato on "The Challenges of the Adolescent Orthopaedic Patient". The meeting was a great success.
APOS will run the Annual Paediatric Orthopaedic Instructional Course on Thursday-Friday 20-21st September 2012 at the Sheraton, Noosa.
The 2012 APOS Annual Scientific Meeting will be held at the Sheraton Noosa on Saturday-Sunday 22-23rd September.
Rebecca Fielding will set up a conference website to facilitate registration for both of these meetings.
